Origin: Germany, c. 1968
Lovely, sweet and expressive Steiff Masked Bear 0202.36. Caramel in colour, he stands approximately 14 inches high (36 cm). He has a raised script Steiff button in ear and yellow ID tag bearing his credentials.
This is a vintage Steiff bear from the 1960’s, as can be seen in the yellow ID tag with a full stop (period) in the ID number. From 1970, the full stop was replaced with a slash ” / ” between the number sets. He is five ways jointed, has a brown stitched nose and glass eyes and a small hump in the back.
This cuddly, adorable bear is in fantastic condition with no damage or loss of fur whatsoever. A very collectable vintage Steiff in immaculate condition.
