Item: Vintage Michelin Man – Bibendum – Cast Iron Money Box
Date: mid-20th century
Condition: Very good (see additional information)
A very good example of the classic Michelin Man money box. The original version of this money bank was produced in lead, and is an extremely rare item indeed. This is an early reproduction in cast iron and has survived well with only minimal paint loss.
This is a very collectable money box which makes a stunning presentation and would take pride in any collection.
Condition | Very good condition with only minor age-related wear and paint loss. Areas of paint loss are mainly to fist, right foot and small chips around the mouth. Registration number clearly legible to the reverse. Very good to excellent for display. |
